She'll be fine. Do the best you can to get her interaction. We would take ours to lowes and ride in the cart and let people interact.

lab mix So a pit.

My dog was a “lab mix” as well.

A coworker adopted his brother and got the dna testing.

They are
Shepherd
Pitt bull
Bull terrier
Staffordshire terrier
American bulldog

And greyhound.

Amazingly not a single drop of lab blood to be found.

I was like man you are the perfect killing machine according to the OT . Doesn’t get more Florida than this dude.

ain't a whole lot of kill shelters anymore

May not be a whole lot of them, but the news last night did a story on the “Capitol Animal Alliance “ shelter that is having to euthanize an average of 10 dogs/day. About 100 dogs over capacity and they took in 150 last week.

Got to be tough walking down the row of cages and picking out which 10 die today.

You have to think pack level.

She would have a pack to spar with.

You are it.

When she nips if she buys too hard let out a yelp. Let her know when she's bitten too hard.

As far as the crate. You out them in for a short time and reward with treats when the come out.

Keep extending the length of time. It's not overnight and may take two weeks.

After extended times in the crate as soon as you open it take em outside to pee.

We hung a bell by the door on the floor and ours rings the bell when she has to go out.

We had a young pit female (who had just had puppies removed) show up in the pasture behind the house. She had a chain around her neck, and had clearly been mistreated.

She came up to the house and wouldn't leave. If I corrected her once, it would not happen again. I finally had someone come out to adopt her, and she wouldn't go. So, we kept her. She's a great dog - will not use her giant chompers.

We recently rescued in Aussie. She's a good dog, except she likes to dig. We're working on that problem. She also tried to pick a fight with my older Aussie, who is old but also very experienced in battle (killed tons of raccoons, venomous snakes, etc.). So Layla, the elder, put an arse whipping on Mollie, the junior.

All these things work out.

At the same time, I have felt myself enormously depressed.

I worry for her and worry I can’t provide for her what she needs. I worry I’ve made a horrible mistake. Maybe people could have come along and provided better.

Also reward them for going in. Toss a treat in there before you ask her to go in.
