It would also be an absurd position to suggest that Home Depot is responsible for the acts of their customers.
Not entirely. What if the customers were acting aggressively towards others, the staff knew, and did nothing?
That's how this argument will go: other stores don't allow dogs because they have been shown to be randomly aggressive, HD knows this and decided to ignore it.

Coloradians. Very fond of dogs in that state.

I'm an amateur dog trainer, competitor and breeder. I would never bring my dogs in public for there own safety.
By the way, I've seen people with dogs going in to see their doctor recently. Even the staff was having a " challenge " with that.

This recent dog ownership craze has mutated into an abomination.
Multiple women walking around with huge dogs for no apparent reason other than to intimidate the public. What the hell was she even in a hardware store for? Did she need some 80 grit belts for her belt sander or some rubber washers to repair her leaking hose bib?
Dogs belong on farms and ranches where the can do actual work of protecting livestock from wild animals.
They are not fur babies and if a woman is sleeping in the same bed as a huge assed dog there is a huge problem there.

We went to the LSU games in Hoover last weekend, people sitting next to us had a laberdoodle with an emotional support dog vest on. It was hot as balls out there and they were pouring water on it trying to keep it cool, unbelievable

I’m really fricking sick of people who have to take their dog everywhere with them.
It didn't used to be that way. Of course, in Houston, a dog would die in a hot car the same as a child, so leave the dog at home.
I was in a garden club that met nights on the west side of town. One of our members was European and very concerned for her personal safety. I found that out when I parked next to her one night and she was making sure her dog, in her car had air flow and enough water. It was well after dark and she said that whenever she went out at night, the dog went with her.
Having been robbed at gunpoint not far from there, I could understand.

28-3
That happened at the end of the 2016 football season. Since 2016, Metro Atlanta has added 600,000 people. That's about 1.5 times the population of New Orleans.
There are more people who have moved to Atlanta since 28-3 happened than there are people in New Orleans, period. Think about that.
The GDP of Metro Atlanta has increased by almost $100,000,000,000 over that time. That's larger than the GDP of all of Metro New Orleans. Your entire economy is smaller than what Atlanta has added since 28-3. That's like saying "my raise was bigger than your salary."
Since 28-3 happened, the Braves have won a world championship and I think UGA has won two. (I don't really follow minor league football much these days).
Average home values in Metro Atlanta are also up about 80% since the end of 2016.
We're OK, We've moved on. I know 8 years feels like the blink of an eye to people from New Orleans. It is not. That's one reason I left.
