re: Does it feel like Christmas?

I will say, I’m still up with my oldest that wanted to help put out gifts. We decided to hang out, threw some smoked sausage on the grill, and just got to visit. Sometimes I guess we get blessed even when we don’t expect it. It’s not a huge thing but means a lot to me he doesn’t know it. Hoping the same for all y’all baws.

It hasn’t really felt like Christmas to me since before I moved out of my parents house. Even though I have kids of my own now. This is still my favorite time of year, but it’s just so different than when I was young. This year really kinda sucks because I’ve been working my arse off every day since thanksgiving. I got Christmas Eve and today off and go back to working my arse off again tomorrow. Feels like I’m missing my whole life right now.
