It needs a Great Wall since the houses flooded.

Have the homes there lost value?

I did some work for some of my bosses that lived there after the flood last year. Pretty much every house in there got some sort of water. I'd imagine the houses lost a little value because of that.

neighborhood has changed- I would not recommend buying there.

Have friends that live there and they are concerned that since the flood it is going to go down faster

Check the neighborhoods around there and see what they look like since the flood. Most have been slow to rebuild

Not sure if this is an Asian reference...but a lot of Vietnamese live in the back of the neighborhood now. They are self policing and keeping the riff raff out

When was this a desirable neighborhood? Seems like everyone with money opted to live in lake at white oak and white oak landing back in the day

The only times I’ve heard of Centurion was when people were either bitching about rappers in the neighborhood being too loud or accidentally running over children. Never “I’d love to live in Centurion!”

I’m always one step behind Should I get ahead of the game & just buy in French Settlement or St. Amant?

It was a nice neighborhood with large lots. My grandfather had a place in the back that got 5' of water that we just sold.

It has the look of a neighborhood in decline although it will probably be a while before the renters move in and cars are in lawns. I wouldn't move in there if I had a family and besides that whole stretch of O'neal is going downhill
