Who uses Walmart for anything on a regular basis?

I buy diapers and formula there monthly. I doesn't make sense paying a premium for something that my kid is going to piss and shite in.

I used it when I hurt my knee. It was a huge help. Now I just in the store again, though.

Yes. It's awesome. We do it for our weekly shopping. Normally set it up for mid morning Saturday and just swing by while we're out and pick them up. 5 minutes max.

You can set it to default for the off brand stuff and if they are out they upgrade it to name brand for the same price.

We also use the wal mart pay in the app. We pay right through the app and the receipt gets submitted to the "savings catcher". It compares the price you paid on everything to prices at other stores. If there is a cheaper price out there for something you just bought, you get the difference awarded to your next purchase.

We use it for groceries twice a month. Never had a problem. Usually they upgrade items that are out of stock. Haven't stepped foot in the store for about 6 months.

sure.

I know there are a lot of places where they're the only game in town but outside of those places they aren't hard to avoid.

WalMart is very easily avoided if you live in BR. I avoid WalMart, College Drive, Siegen Lane, Sammys, and anywhere else notoriously crowded like the plague.

Its not even a "screw WalMart" thing. They're just legitimately hell on earth in BR.

I did the pickup thing a few times at the Neighborhood WalMart, but it was just okay. If you go on a weekend, it takes like 20 minutes of waiting at the location I went to. I could have shopped in the time it took.

And if I'm going to go during an obscure hour when not many people are there, I might as well just go in.

Same here. I don't have anything against Walmart as a company. It's just unpleasant to shop there.

College Drive,

I avoid this one at all cost.

Last time I was there I saw the weatherman Jay Grimes buying a 5th of crown..

And that was years ago.. It seems like there is always issues trying to park there.. Then it gets worse from there.

Why go to Walmart for that when the Albertson's is right next door?

Yep, agreed. We are a household of two and my SO lives away from the house for 5-7 days when he's "on", plus weekends are typically spent out. So the minuscule groceries I buy doesn't justify the amount of effort that goes into WalMart shopping.

I shop at Robert on Highland and rarely spend more than $50 for the week. WalMart might have come out to $45 for the same stuff, but $5 just isn't worth it to me.

Wal marts are run like shite and no matter what area you live in, they'll always have the same Walmart people shopping there. I can get what I need from Target. I would never buy meat or produce from either anyways.

Just placed.y weekly Thursday night order. Have all my regular items set as favorites. Takes less than 5 minutes to get everything I need ordered. Pickup on the way home from work on Friday.

I use the store in Broussard and never waited more th an 3 minutes and rarely had a error. Meat is picked up at Cade's on the way home.

We spend $600-700 per month at the grocery store. I hadn't been in a Wal-Mart in years for groceries until they started doing the curbside service.

It saves me or my wife about an hour and we get to pay Walmart prices without having to go in one.

We have a strong regional competitor here (Fred Meyer) so it makes it easy to avoid Walmart. I've only been to Walmart a handful of times in the last ten years and most of that was during travel.

Been using it a few months. Maybe because it’s a small town so less users, but I tell the app I’m on my way and when I park tap what space I’m in and they come out immediately

Never had any problems. I love it

Super 1 just got it but I see no reason to switch since it’s so seamless

Tried it twice, they screwed it up both times.

Never tried it but a friend ordered a 2 candle for their kids 2nd birthday
It was substituted with a 3 since they were out

I needed a new sink shutoff valve at 7:30 Tuesday night. Wal-Mart is about 6 minutes closer than Lowes, so I gladly went.

Saying you'll never voluntarily walk into a Wal-Mart again is preposterous.

I've voluntarily walked into walmart once in the last 6+ months and that was yesterday.

And I left without the main reason I went there.

Target, whole foods, Tom thumb, Central market, and home Depot for your example are all closer or the same distance away from me.

That's dumb.

This thread makes it pretty obvious people hate money.
