Cholula >>>> watered down tomato paste

Sometimes I make a sandwich just to put Tabasco on it. Things don't have to be complicated.

Respect the OG but they have been seriously outdone in the last couple decades.

Yes, but I love Crystal

My one and only application is on Red beans and White beans and rice. Strange but true. But yes I love the kick it adds to those dishes.

Tobasco is the only 'hot sauce' most restaurants or kitchens even carry outside of the Southwest or South.
Go to the northeast or Midwest and ask for hot sauce in a restaurant. If they even have anything and after they look at you like you're insane, It will be a small bottle of shite Tobasco they got from the kitchen.
If a restaurant has Crystal or especially Louisiana hot sauce in the table... They know what they hell they are doing.
If they don't, run away.

this is where it's at.
You can get this at Rouses. It's not very hot FWIW.

I don’t dislike it. It is “hot sauce” that does the trick in soups, gumbo’s, fried fish, pizza.

Cholula is good, but it isn't really hot sauce.

Different sauces are better for different applications. Tabasco has its place but is not a wide variety sauce for me. Cholula on breakfast and Mexican food, Louisiana in beans, gumbo, on pizza, etc. Tabasco is a must in my Bloody Mary and on fried fish though.

Crystal or Louisiana, either one will work for me. Once it cooks down, I can't distinguish between the two.

This man knows what’s up.
I like Tabasco regular too though.
