You might think it is dumb for people to spend their money on those things, it is only dumb if they can't afford it or don't get out of hand with it. Like I mentioned, I bought a Saints uniform skin because I wanted to have my own (opposed to using the 3 or 4 different skins they assign to you if you don't have any), but I am not going to get anymore.. But that's what our economy depends on.
There are a lot of companies worth millions.. or billions of dollars, that provide things we don't need. Like shoe companies. Nike for example. Do you NEED a $130 shoe?

My 2 older kids play (12 and 10) and I enjoy watching them. I am horrible at the actual game play.
They are on the 2nd season playing so we have spent a few dollars on the Battle Pass and a couple of skins. (probably under $50 total)
On the current Season, they finished the Battle Pass and earned some new skins and emotes so they were really excited by earning it instead of buying it.
It really is a well designed game with great graphics that are easy to follow and the content is fairly static with minimal big changes so the game is easy to learn and keep up with.

So at night time or during the weekend you don't have an extra 30mins to play around?
Nope. I work 70-100 hours a week.
Any extra time is with my kids.

Love it when the OT likes to act all macho and act like video games are for teenagers and pre-teens.

I think the average poster here is well into their 30s

I play because my son plays it. I try to play it like Call of Duty but those skills dont transcend to Fortnite because little punk arse bitches build fricking walls and bridges out of thin fricking air when I'm about to unleash holy hell on their little frickin asses and some a-hole comes floating in on gay arse balloons and shoots me with a bolt action rifle like Lee Harvey fricking Oswald.

Why am I not surprised that you'd jump on the bandwagon of something that peaked 7 months ago

Well they are
I guess if we're going to use that logic though than other hobbies like painting or recreational sports are immature and for kids because they do them too.

I wont go as far as saying one if for adults and one is for kids, both are marketed to different age groups.

I think the OP was just trying to make new friends , like that kid on the Microsoft commercial
