She had to wipe your arse and drive an ugly arse van to get you around half her life, can you blame her for being jaded?

I know dip shite, I was just saying it... Because SS is an addict.. It was my only comeback..

And SS, when I was in college, I use to ride with some friends, before I could drive, the would drive for me. A few semesters, I had class at noon when they didn't so they would go places in my van. Dudes would park in handicap spots and open the ramp and walk out.. People use to look at them like they were crazy.

perfect time for nosey arse people to call the cops on something so trivial.... trivial like the Americans with disabilities act of 1990

Actually I'd like to drive the van just to try out the hand controls like a video game

Yep. Dad has always been that way and gets worse with age. Everything is doom and gloom and he seems to think the world is against him.
Miserable people annoy me

My Gram didn't yell but she sure was critical of everything. But she cooked amazing meals, raised us when we lived with her and was pretty damn funny with the stuff she said. She ran her house like a drill sergeant.

We always used to say that she wasn't happy unless she had something to complain about.

I sure do miss her and the crap she would tell us. I remember her insisting I iron my blue jeans before I wore them to high school.

Has anyone tried talking to her about it?

My mom has this tendency. But I tell her when she really starts getting to me. It helps some. And she's overall better than she was when I was a kid

My parents don't really complain. My mom says/asks some pretty dumb stuff, doesn't listen and I probably am not as nice to her as a son should be, but I can't say she's a complainer. Same with my dad, best friend I'll ever have, but that son of a bitch can make you feel about two inches tall if he's pissed at you.

Get out of your parents house.. Your mom is trying to keep you around by cutting your feet out from under you. Ignore her and get on with your life. She'll get over it.
