I spend time with my grandson and I will take him anytime. I love it. He's awesome.

There is no such thing as perfect parents, perfect children, or perfect grandparents. When you get to age you'll understand.

My wife was a teacher and she had our 3rd and last child in the middle of a school year. My mom asked if she could keep our infant for several months so my wife could finish out the year. And both sets of grandparents are always willing to watch our 3 boys at the drop of a hat then ask again when they can watch them again so my wife and I can spend time together.

My wife later went on to keep other peoples children and work in a day care. The stories that people would bring about how frustrated they were with the grandparents always came from parents that were selfish and self-absorbed and from parents whose kids were the spawn of satan and they did nothing to discipline them.

So if you ask me, it reflects more on the parents than the grandparents.

Maybe if you didn’t want them to watch your kids constantly so you can go party they’d be more willing.
