Never should have stopped them

Torture first, then hang them.

Capital punishment should have been in affect a long time ago. You caught stealing, you lose the hand that took it. Your convicted of murder beyond all reason of doubt, you are exterminated the same way. Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. It worked in the past. Just go overseas and get caught driving drunk and see what they do!

There are still countries that practice this that may be to your liking.

No. They didn't have the desired effect. They became macabre carnivals, and they were no deterrent. In 18th century London, where pickpocketing was a capitol offense, pickpockets worked the crowd at public hangings.

If I thought it would matter or help make a change, I would be for it. Sadly, the fcked up people who commit the worst crimes are not mentally worried at all about their lives. It wouldn't deter shite.
They've either been raised like animals and been beaten and subjected to violence their whole lives or they are mentally unstable.
I just wish the worst of the worst where there is no doubt at all that they are guilty due to video and admission of guilt could be somehow put to death within 6 months of the committing of murder. As it stands now, its trial after trial and appeal after appeal. Takes 20 years for them to be put to death.

Shoot them in the legs then have them gutted on live TV. That should do it........

If it was up to me, I would have a had that shooter who shot those cops today hung infront of the State Capital for all to see. I would even go as far to make it televised
Right because public hangings made Medieval Europe so pleasant to live in

Public hangings should have been going on all along.

You must have just finished watching Hell on Wheels

Agreed. Never should have stopped them. One of the biggest problems in today's society is accountability. Seems like all we ever hear are excuses for bad behavior. If there were more severe punishments that were actually enforced, people might think twice before committing crimes.
