My piss hurt one night at the bar and I told my ladyfriend. She got paranoid, got tested, and it turned out positive. Called up my pharmacist buddy and he came over to my house to just give me the antibiotics.

that particular argument is silly, but there are legitimate concerns. primary of which is children, which severely complicate future relationships
i don't personally care, but i say that from a biased perspective (like filtering out single mothers for potential marriage, which, as stated above, is the primary issue)
now if you're not talking about a relationship with a real future? as long as she's clean those worries aren't really there. the children, STD, coupling, etc. issues won't matter b/c you're not going to invest in that relationship long term anyway

i don't think many people are truly advocating for only marrying virgins. it would be hard to get high numbers if a person only had sex in committed relationships, because there is only so much time for each of those

In the case of restricted sexuality and this outcome, I think relationships become a philial sort of deal rather than romantic. It sucks, but I can see where the opposite situation makes long-term companionship much more difficult.

I had about 10 years of being sexually active before I met my future wife. Of those 10 years, 6 were in prior exclusive relationships. I've only had a few years of being single since I was 16.
