I do both. Most of the time I take my shoes off, but not always. We clean the floors pretty regularly so it's not much of an issue.

Do shoes-on people just never ever socialize with shoes-0ff people? Apparently at least half of the people here think it's disgusting to wear shoes indoors, yet I can think of like 2 times in my life where it was actually a thing in someone's house.

And I love the ones so disgusted that they walked in a public bathroom with their shoes. Do you immediately wash your hands any time you take off or put on your shoes? Again that's something I've never seen (with any regularity).

I must not have. My wife's grandparents and one other friend's house that grew up in my neighborhood are the only times that I can remember being asked to take my shoes off to go in someone's house.

The Mrs. is asian.... but I'm more strict about no shoes in the house than she is, which fits as typically I'm the one to make the mess.

You and Mr Rogers are the only two people I know that touch the soles of their shoes to take them off and on

Sheepskin slippers will change your life when walking around the house...can get some for like 100 bucks. Really worth it.

Seriously? Once I walk in the door my shoes are the first thing I take off. Then the bra.

I have a shoe rack in my garage. All of the shoes stay right there. Whether your coming or going they stay there. Shoes in my house make me cringe

I kick my feet up on the coffee table sometimes with shoes on. I'm a damn caveman I guess
