I know I am. I'm very glad I got away.

Yep.

And I thank God for it every day. Seriously.

There was one other, but we didn't get far since I knew it wasn't gonna be permanent.

Sounds like you dodged a bullet to me man. That’s some fricked up logic on her part. Can you imagine a life with someone who problem solves like that??

The fairy tale is a fairy tale. It’s not reality.

Zero doubt. I matured at a faster pace and most girls I dated when I was younger were still in their party phase and I’m sure now regret it. That combined with my bank account now.

It’s been a while now, but I lost track of how many late night, “How you been?” texts I used to get from exes probably just kicking themselves. I’m not on social media or I imagine it’d be worse.

Yep.

I talked to/kinda dated a girl at a different university for about a month or so back in undergrad. I didn't think much of it.

A few years later, she called me and told me that I was still the "voice inside her head" and helped her get through a lot of problems in her life. She then apologized to me for not being what I needed.

It was absolutely bizarre and I still wonder if she's going to stick me with a poison dart one day to kidnap me.

No way.
Never had any girlfriends.
Met my future wife, got married.
No history. Ever.
Why do you ask?

She was a 6.5 when we left the bar and a 2 the next morning. I chewed my arm out of the trap just like a coyote and got away.

No, and likewise for the opposite.

If we were right for each other, we would be together. I think the concept of "bad timing" is a potentially toxic myth. Along that same vein, I firmly believe your true love will NEVER be someone's boyfriend/girlfriend or spouse.
