any time Cane's donates a percentage, its based on the profit and not the total sale

By donate, he means the government bite. Matching Social Security, Taxes, state taxes, property taxes, etc. probably equal more than 33%.

He is asking for a tax break. He wants to get his burden down to 33%.

On a side note, how much smaller do chicken fingers need to get to be considered chicken fries?

Damn, this makes me hungry as hell. I would tear up a few pieces of that bread dipped in the leftover canes dipping sauce.

He doesn't give 1/3 away, but canes and him personally are very philanthropic to each community they operate stores in and especially in Baton Rouge. Amazes me how butt hurt people are about a guy that has been successful from implementing his plan and working hard at it.

Not sure how feasible this is.
Last time I looked I paid about 60% of my income to some type of governmental tax, fee or license.
