re: Do you think the moon landings were real?

This is for all the fools who think the landings were fake. Do a little research.
Proof
1.The Waving Flag
According to this argument, frequently cited by the people who think that the moon landings were nothing more but a hoax, is that the star-spangled banner of the United States of America seemed to wave and flutter as Neil Armstrong planted it to the ground. This wouldn’t have been much of an issue except for the fact that there is virtually no atmosphere on the moon, and therefore no wind whatsoever to have such an effect on any flag.

However, if we look closely on the original moon landing footage, we can see that the flag is actually standing still, and not moving in any way during the entire tape. But why is the flag still?
To make the flag stand still on the moon, the flag was actually made from plastic material, similar to the one that tents are usually made of .
For practical reasons, the flag was originally folded to maximize space and stored in a thin tube.
After Neil Armstrong planted it to the surface of the Moon, it briefly appeared to move as it was unfolding itself to its final shape.

I believe they were real. But I have never understood that if Neil was the 1st to set foot on the moon how come there is a picture from like 20 feet away showing him go down the ladder????

I think they re-did the shot much like Iwo.

Because Buzz had already left the lander and Buzz took the pic.
You couldn't noodle that through your big brain?
ETA: It wasn't when Neil first set foot on the moon. Come on guys.

But what I don't understand is why we haven't been back. It seems like it would be much easier with the advances in technology.
That's a lot of moon landings. What's the point on repetitive returns? The risk far outweighs the reward, not to mention the gigantic costs.
Someone has to pay for this shite. There's nothing worth investing in if the goal is the moon.

I can't find it right now but I've read before that some of the footage that was shot on the moon was ruined somehow, so they did some reshoots in a studio. I can buy that because we did go to the moon and it explains some of the abnormalities with some of the footage.

Ok. I guess I never thought of that. I always wanted to go to the moon. IMO we should have landed on Mars by now. BUT is going farther into space THAT important???? They spend a dhitload of money on it.

What kind of wuedtion is that???

Of course, we have 3 bases there and they're growing marijuana and synthesising LSD.

Most of the nay sayers point to the footage for their argument on why they think the entire event was faked. All I'm saying is that a reshoot seems like a more plausible explanation if in fact anything is wrong with the footage.

If we don't have the technology to land on the moon, then we certainly don't have the technology to orbit a satellite continuously around the planet in order to provide the internet service that would power this website.
So who the frick are all you imposters then?
Have to admit, you had me fooled for a second there.

The video of Armstrong taking the first step on the moon was from a camera mounted to the leg of the lunar lander.

There is a ton of third party evidence that we were on the moon.
LINK
A friend of my Dad was Richard Krandle, he is mentioned in the Wiki article for Apollo 15. He was a engineer living in New Jersey during the Apollo program. He did not work in the space program but was very interested in it, working by himself he fabricated a microwave receiver for the frequency used by the lunar module to command module communications link, he also built a large parabolic dish in his back yard. Using his home built equipment and antenna he was able to receive the astronauts communications directly from the moon. He sent reel to reel tapes of the communications to my dad which I also heard. The non-believers will probably say that NASA obviously went to the trouble of relaying communications signals to the moon and back just in case some random engineer might try to build his own equipment to intercept the signals.
