Has been broadend to the point where it doesn't even mean anything anymore? I'm always seeing stories where they such and such went "viral", but I've never seen them. When the term was first being used, everyone and their brother would have seen or heard about it. Now it just seems overused, or am I just getting old?

I don't consider it viral if I've never seen it.

ETA: Or if the only reason I'm seeing it is because the news is showing the latest "viral" video.

If something is viral I tend to stay away from it.

So the entire viral classification of something depends on if OysterPoBoy has seen it or not. Makes sense

Only if it's in English.

Just like 'supermodel,' 'viral' lost its meaning the third time it was used.
