Those of you taking vitamin D3 should consider taking K2 also.

Here's a combo:

quote:

Vitamin K2 tells your body what to do with calcium. When Vitamin K2 levels are adequate, calcium goes into your bones and teeth where it belongs. When Vitamin K2 levels are inadequate, calcium can deposit in soft tissues like arteries, kidneys, and the gum-line, where it can cause problems.

What types of Vitamin K2 do I need?
MK-4 and MK-7, both essential for good health, are distributed differently and activate different proteins in the body. MK-4 supports normal brain function, and can travel across the placenta to benefit the developing fetus. MK-7, which goes to work in the bones, is longer acting.

FYI: Most people don't need to supplement with calcium.

I take B12 daily with my other meds. I was taking Iron for a while to help build my blood back up but I don’t have to take it any longer.

My doctor told me to take vitamin D. Said he has his entire family on it. Supposed to strengthen your immune system and immune response to illness.

Multi, fish oil X 2, D X 2 and B-12. Any excess can get washed out and no problem. Skip the weekends on occasion, so the double up on the critical vitamins is good for me.

2 vitamin B's , 2 D's, Fish oil, allergy.
Work outside. Would get seasonal depression until my doctor told me my Vitamin D levels were low. I take 5-10k a day and feel great. Definitely tell a difference if I skip a few days.

In my house and workplace, "vitamins" is code for whiskey. So, yes I take vitamins.

Numa for Alzheimer's. It gets the silica past the membrane that normally keeps it out of the brain.

I take a high dose of Niacin at night. It helps to regulate cholesterol levels.
I also take turmeric (keeps down inflammation in the body) and Vitamin B for general energy and metabolism.
Sometimes fish oil but not sure what for.
