When this is what a wedding guest thinks is appropriate wedding attire, I'm not going to that wedding.

I will go to a funeral where folks wear this, that's different.

I have been to a funeral where the departed had on a shirt like this.

Well, you know how I feel about that, especially at this time of year.

And I stand up when a lady exits/enters a dinner table, I hold her chair back for her, I open doors for her. I do not wear a hat indoors. This is called manners, most of which no longer exists, unfortunately.

wearing a hat at a wedding is extremely tacky. No to that. If it was a trashy wedding, then who cares.

If i can eat in a restaurant that allows me to wear shorts or a tshirt, Im not taking my hat off if i have one on. Its 2016, not 1915. There is no reason to remove your hat at most places.

If they are wearing hats at a wedding it probably doesn't matter

According to the Dictionary of Phrase and Fable by E. Cobham Brewer, the custom of taking off the hat is: “A relic of the ancient custom of taking off the helmet when no danger is nigh. A man takes off his hat to show that he dares stand unarmed in your presence.”

Unless, of course, he needs to protect himself in Charley G's.

I would find looking at someone's messy arse nappy head hat hair more disrespectful than them wearing a hat at a restaurant.

I'm going to go with K (All of the above)

A few of these would require something nicer than a baseball cap though.

depends on where I am...if I am at any type of remotely formal, sit-down dinner, I would take it off....

however, if I am at a fast food place or a sammich shop, I generally would leave it on...

The amount of people who wear hats nonstop nowadays is just ridiculous. People wear them in bars, in restaurants, in weddings (apparently).

We get it, you're balding, sack it up and deal with it. Don't pretend you can wear a hat to every occasion and people won't know.

I was raised to take it off, so I do. I require the same of those eating in my house. However, when I am in public I understand that just about every person was raised differently than I was so I keep my opinion to myself.

I don't go all SJW on anybody and try to get them to do something just because I believe in it.

You should never wear a hat at a wedding unless thats what the bride and groom want?

I usually take mine off at the dinner table.

But if you are at a sports bar like BWW or whatever its perfectly fine.

Agree. I'll leave a hat on in Zaxbys or a pizza place, but nowhere above that.

No, I nod in the general direction of my wife and she comes over to remove my lid and I give her a dollar and tell her she is getting quicker.
