I thought about this, like soldering 200' of wire to the back of a broken RasPi cameras PCB. Making her go on this crazy goose chase around the property.
But been too busy with leaving my Grandparents cryptic text messages from random Google Voice numbers.

You have to halfway hide them so she thinks she’s clever. Then she’ll let her guard down once she thinks she’s got the blind spots mapped out. Make sure to leave her a point of egress

I don't spy on my wife, but we used to have a nanny cam in our den before we moved it into a kid's room. One day it occurred to me we were probably on there banging a lot, so I logged in to the camera to check the footage...lots of home videos on there that my wife never even knew about

Can someone spy with camera in garage and pointed at dog kennel? I would think they wouldn’t be a secret (like it comes on with motion or garage door opening and closing and would also have a light come on if turned on).
Secret cameras or ones that do more than wife knows would be a problem.
We use apps on devices that are trackers, but it’s not a secret, can be turned off (or location sharing with others stopped), and lets other person know if specifically checking when they leave or arrive somewhere. It’s also more about devices, but it can be used to for person if they have them with them and on. Again not a secret, so while some here may not see a difference I don’t thinking all knowingly using the family sharing aspect of Find My whatever with Apple is tracking in sense used here.
