1997 Windows 95 operating system dial up internet had to have a separate phone line how times have changed

It didn't HAVE to have a separate phone line, but no one could use the phone while you were on it.

I had what I believed to be one of the first internet hacks...if you dialed in with AOL to set up an account, just leave the setup page going while dialed into the internet and pull up some other browser and go to town

I remember printing off pixilated photographs from Danni’s Hard Drive to take into my bedroom and masturbate to. thinking back I probably could’ve just finished in the time it took that inkjet printer to work it’s magic. Good times.

The anticipation of those slow loading naked pictures was part of the the thrill. It's not the same with instant video on demand.

Late 80s NSFNET. It was fascinating.

AOL in the early 90s changed everything.

ETA: I think I was on a Kaypro ... that just came to me for some reason. I even remember where I was.
