I love it but I'm not "in love" with it.

I feel affection toward America but right now the future's bleak.

I love the idea of what it is supposed to be. Not what it actually is. I respect those that fought and died serving our country but the politicians and people who blindly think we are the greatest nation on Earth can kindly go frick themselves.

As it stands right now, no I don't love my country because all we are are a bunch of cry babies who love to point fingers and blame someone else for all of our problems instead of coming together to fix the issues we need to. And that's not just the left or the right.

not nearly as much as I love Asian porno, king cake, or my daughter. More than my son though. He's a little bastard.

Despite our flaws this is still the greatest nation imo.

But I can see how people may see things differently.

I love what it was, not what it is.

problems don't get fixed because people segregate each other into political and racial sects. People just need to band together as Americans first and foremost.

Any time I've traveled out of the country I've realized just how lucky/blessed I was to be born here. As much as people may bitch about our nation's flaws....we sound like spoiled brats compared to the real issues others in other countries face.

A guy last night told me he wanted to go live in Scotland and asked why I wouldn't. I was like I live in America

i love my family, friends, and George Strait. The rest of the country is underwhelming. Too much influence from the religious nuts restricts freedom. Too much influence from corporate lobbyists leads to bad policy. There's so much wrong that it's hard to feel love.
