Do you only leave negative reviews or are you mostly positive?

I use VRBO a lot and will leave comments on properties I've stayed in, mostly positive

Only on Yelp, and kind of in spells. I'll review for a while when I go out, then get bored with it.

I leave glowing reviews for bars I frequent, on Yelp. I especially praise the bartenders. I also have a face pic for my avatar. Works like a charm.

A few, when I have useful information or really liked the place. So far I have not had to trash anybody which is part of the point of the review sites. Do your due diligence and terrible experiences are rare.

I've started leaving good, bad, and even in between reviews... I think an issue I ran into was reading reviews people only left the extremes so I wasn't sure what to think. So you go by if they have more positive than negative really but then you get there and it is meh.

I'm about 50/50 good and bad... If I remember to do it, I'll leave an honest review.

Urbanspoon too.

Yelp, Urbanspoons, etc are just becoming cyber bullying sites. They are an example of how people do not know how to resolve an issue.

Yelp is a wasteland. It is worse than trusting Amazon reviews.

I leave reviews on everything I do regardless of whether it was good, bad or indifferent. My opinions are important and people need to be made aware of them.

I really can't take restaurant reviews seriously when I don't know the person writing the review. Everybody's expectations are different.

I've heard people say Olive Garden was the best meal they've ever had

I actually never have left reviews on this kind of thing....I did recently take a couple of trips and found the reviews very useful, so I plan to start reviewing when I have something to say...

I leave reviews from a business travelers perspective on the good and the bad.

Rarely, unless it was fantastic or I feel I got ripped off.

I don't.

I do send an email to the hotel's General Manager letting him know when I have received exceptional service. A reply is always guaranteed back.

I then let that GM know when I am coming back to his hotel and you'd be surprised at what kind of upgrade a person can get.
