Yes...Everything one of your examples fits a co-worker that I worked with last year. When I stopped working with her she was calling and texting me till I finally told her that I didn't care to speak with her. She back stabbed me so bad that people think she is crazy. I was in traffic the other day and I heard a horn blowing, I looked and IT WAS HER! She did mention one time that she knew I was at home on a certain night.

Is it a situation in which when you think about it now, all the signs were there, but the dots just didn't connect at the time?

I don't remember him honestly. I just know he was my coach for my first year and remember practices at his house. Big yard next to the house off Perkins.

Funny how that works.

Well, it takes a certain mindset to do certain types of jobs and a psychopath has the mindset that is needed so there are certain positions that attract psychopaths.. I wonder if there is a certain level or if some is either one or not one.

Yes. I'm dealing with it now. My crazy arse ex. After we separated she lied and said she was raped. Now she's accusing me of calling her from a blocked number. Dumb bitch lied about going to nursing school. A few years ago we were on bad terms so she lied about being in a car wreck. I called 10 hospitals in one day. Bitch is crazy.

How about some real life examples of shite they do instead of a checklist of vague characteristics.

Not just talking to you, OP.

What about Sociopaths. Aren't they more common?

I really don't know, but this explains the difference between the two.

Can't remember. I was only 4 or 5. It was 37 years ago and was my coach only that one year.

I actually didn't mean that as hateful as it sounds when I read it back.

Oh well.

Also, from what I have read Psychopathy is a product of nature whereas Sociopathy is a product of nurture.

Pyschopaths are born....Sociopaths are created.

not really. psychopaths can imitate empathy, blend in, and appear normal. sociopaths usually can't.

Ted Bundy is a classic psychopath.

I have varying degrees of all of those. Been called a sociopath by more than a few people, including two psychologist friends. I see it as beneficial. Feelings are for pussies

Dirty Mike S. You know who you are.

But he probably isn't on TD but dead, in jail or hustling a senior citizen somewhere.

Being a pathological liar doesn't necessarily equate to psychosis. And you're obviously a dumbass for not using a condom with someone so unstable.

My cousin's ex husband is probably not a true psychopath, but he's got a lot of the traits. He basically used her family to float him through med school and residency, then once he started making money, he let his true colors show. Very narcissistic. We all thought he was this genuinely nice guy, and then once it came out that he was cheating, it wasn't even like he tried to hide it or show remorse. He was just a dick. I wasn't close with him or even that particular cousin at all, but am close with that family (her brother was my best man) and it was a weird time. I know it crushed my uncle who paid for all his schooling and had even bought cars that his parents used. He would flat out tell my uncle that he used him. No remorse.
