I used to blast my air horn in the tunnels on the Pennsylvania Turnpike when nobody else was around. Loud as hell!

There's plenty of tunnels in Western Pennsylvania and no one does the honking thing. What really ticks people off though, is when drivers pump their brakes going into the tunnel to slowdown for no reason.
