Yes. I stress over how I'm going to troll Facebook, post on the OT, and look like I'm working all day.

Wow, this thread. Maybe I can be of some help.
Two tactics that have helped me.
1.) Sunday Curfew - My entire household (4 kids) has to be in chill mode by 3pm. Dinner is cooked, lunches prepped for the week, just hang out on the deck or the couch watching football. This usually means we don't leave the house (except for an hour for church sometimes) at all and use the first part of the day for getting shite done.
2.) If you CAN'T avoid thinking about work, then take 20min and write about it. Make a list of to-do's, potential challenges, key deadlines, etc. This way, you aren't half-arse thinking about it all evening while trying not to.
It's amazing how much you can cover in a quiet place with a notebook. This way, there's a lot less stress because everything that's worth thinking about was already written down.
Do this exercise at least 3 hours from bedtime.

So it sounds like you don't necessarily enjoy your Sundays. The whole day is spent preparing for the upcoming week.

Until 3pm, makes the week a ton easier.
Cooking while watching football ain't bad at all

No, leave work at work and your life will be better.

I'm terrible. It ruins half my Saturday and whole day Sunday. It seems like Friday afternoon is the time I'm most relaxed.

Stressed...sometimes.
Think about stuff...frequently.
I work from home though. While it is nice and has its advantages, it's hard to remove yourself from it.

Same here. I hated being off during the week because it only creates more stress for the rest of the week. Ive gotten to the point where Im able to relax more on off days or weekends but Sun evenings suck bc I feel like the upcoming week will suck. It doesnt help when you hate your position/ working for some of your higher ups.

I'm a small business owner and depending on what I'm focusing on it can be very stressful. Fortunately I absolutely love my job. I just remind myself of that and it makes the stress manageable. The good times are great and the hard times suck. As long as I'm all in I know I'll be fine and can handle anything. When the day comes where I'm not all in I'll sell it and move on.

As a kid I always used to hate the 60 minutes theme clock they show b/c it signaled the official end of the weekend for me.
Still does even though I like my job, that damn 60 Minutes clock stirs up resentment

I used to leave work at work but since I've moved up I've been literally bringing it home with me. I'm less stressed now than I've ever been, though.
