As a freshly minted 75 year old, in relatively good shape, what I've been realizing more & more is that less & less is important to me. As in things I give a shite about. Things that used to bug the shite out of me I now don't give a second thought to. Anger, let alone hate, is such a huge waste of time & energy. The phrase " I'll do it tomorrow" is no longer part of my vocabulary.

Yeah. I remember college girls acting flirty when I approached them to chat. Now they act like I'm boring them.

Led Zeppelin being old folks music gets to me.

I enjoyed the thread, most of the same stuff gets to me. I remind myself that it happens to everybody.

You're not alone. I was 7 when Alaska and Hawaii were added to the U.S. and Harry Truman was President for a few more months before leaving office when Eisenhower was elected POTUS.

Hard to find a better song about the passing of time. One of my favorites.

If you are fortunate, and live to an old age, you will find yourself remembering your friends and family who have passed.
As they passed I wasn't upset. Didn't realize how much I would miss them until a few years later.
Now I think back to the family reunions and wish....

I was thinking about time the other day. My oldest Grandson is a Sophomore in college.
My oldest Grand daughter is a Sr in HS.
My two sons are within six years of reaching the age in which I retired.
Where did those babies go.
