I do a Christmas tree and a couple of other things. Then on the 26th, it comes down.

My house is legendary in our neighborhood for Halloween.
We have parents tell us "Thank you for doing this" when we are handing out candy every year.

I start decorating for Halloween the weekend after Labor Day.
Nov. 1 it all gets packed up and I get out Christmas.
I go WAY too overboard with both of those to have Thanksgiving stuck in there, and we never have it at our house anyway. Also, we have a big Halloween party every year and also have several cocktail parties in December, so I want it to look nice/festive.
This...exactly.

I have a team of workers led by Eduardo who usually takes care of this. Last year I gave them all a free carnival cruise vacation because my house won the best decorations award.

We have some fall decorations that can be used for halloween and thanksgiving, some pumpkin type stuff, etc.
We add some other more traditional Halloween decorations, Nov 1, those come down, and are replaced by fewer thanksgiving decorations - we have a couple of turkey and pilgrim things.
After thanksgiving, that all comes down, and christmas stuff goes up.

I don't decorate for any holiday. I do not help my wife with holiday decorations. If she wants to put them up then she can take them down.

Thankfully we were able to get all holiday decorations banned in my HOA last year. Reality is that it presents a huge safety issue to too many people to justify.
We do allow home owners to hang a small wreath on their door as long as there are no electronics attached and it doesn't exceed 12 inches in circumference.
This is why I couldn't live in a suburb, I'd kick the shite out of the first person who tried to tell me "you may hang a SMALL wreath on your own door between Thanksgiving and New Years Eve , but if that thing lights up, you're getting a fine"
My "neighbors" are cows and they don't give a frick what I hang up.
