The Nicene Creed? To the best of my knowledge, Mormons acknowledge Jesus as savior and the son of God. The fail to understand who the Holy Spirit is. God's Word says nothing about us having to understand who the HS is to be saved. My inference is that any mormon who accepts Jesus as who he said he is has his or her name written the in the Lamb's Book of Life.

When Protestant churches quit trying to claim that Jesus actually turned water into grape juice then we can talk. Also, the lack of stardards amongst especially the Evangelical churches really grinds my gears.

And I think it is horrific how much the Catholic Church covered up sexual abuse of boys by Catholic priests over the years.


No perfect church exists because they are all made up of flawed sin-filled humans.

Point is...Catholics and Protestants certainly have things we disagree on....but what we do share is our basic belief in the Gospel.

I'm not trying to pick a fight just stating matters of theology. I have many friends from around the world from different faiths and consider them all my brothers and sisters. Just because I consider them my brothers and sisters does not make them Christians though. Many of the best people I know are not Christian.

No but Catholics aren’t either in my opinion.

Or I look at it from an anthropological point of view and not a bias of faith. It’s a subset that has some deviations, some may be major but there is a lot of this under the Christian religions.
