No, it goes under the sink with the raw meat

I self check out when possible, and throw everything in the same bag.

This.

I'll go to Publix and get seven items and walk out of there with five fricking bags.

The other day I bought 4 packs of poboy buns. The cashier was determined to put all 4 in the same plastic bag. She gave me a smug look when I told her it’s ok for her to put it in 2 bags.

I self check, and do my own bagging. Separate them when possible.

I care more about all of the cold, and perishable things being bagged together. The things that go to the bathroom being bagged together. Washroom things being bagged together, etc. It's easy to do that, when you make your list out that way, and put the items in the cart that way.

I usually buy groceries solo so the less bags the better. I also secretly challenge myself that I can get every single bag inside in one trip

Time conscious man. Bag it, and take it straight to the room where it belongs.

I've had one of those Clorox w/bleach spray bottles leak in a bag before. Sat it on the bed for 20 seconds, while I was getting a prescription out of another bag. My chocolate comforter had a big white spot on it when I picked up that bag. The bottle didn't leak until it fell over on it's side when I sat it down.

Yes. It bothers me.

I also can’t stand when the put the deli meat with the raw beef.

I’d rather bag my own shite honestly.

Of course. Yet they inevitably still manage to frick it up. Even though it’s so obvious it is presorted for them.

Explaining why I do this to my wife is like explaining calculus to a retard. Which I guess is similar to times I've tried to explain calculus to my wife

You have OCD too, huh? I guess I could go with that excuse. But I do it because it gives me a headache to see them scattered in different categories.

Put things in the conveyor in an order similar to how you'd like them bagged. It's real easy and makes putting groceries away go quicker.

I worked at a grocery store one summer in high school and we had to separate everything. Refrigerated/frozen stuff went together and anything with chemicals (shampoo, cleaning supplies, etc) went together and was separated from food.

Now I sort everything when I put it on the conveyor because it makes it way easier and faster for the cashier. Makes the line go a lot faster.

What danger could CLR being in the same bag as a can of green beans pose?

None. But that’s not the point.

What you’re not understanding is that, instead of expecting 16 year olds to discern between what chemicals can be stored by which foods under which circumstances, it’s better just to have a blanket rule that says never do it, because most of the time, it’s a bad idea.

I understand the logic. I've had the laundry or dishwashing soap cap come loose, messy as hell. But I don't stress over it. Usually just fine.
