I will say this. The first time I ever went to Las Vegas we went see a hypnotist show. The room was like an auditorium an in the back there were tables and in that area there was one of the exit doors and it was more lighted than the rest of the auditorium.

So the show starts and and picks maybe 20 people to come up and did something "to see who were the best to be hypnotized" and then sent 10 of the 20 back to their seats.

He does his thing and hypnotizes them. Makes them do silly shite that they do at all of those shows.. And when he was finished and sent them all back to their seat. We had a wide view of the auditorium since we were all the way in the back.. And having some light we could see some things you probably wouldn't notice when you are in the other seats where it was dark..

Everyone went back to their seat and the guy on stage is keeping everyone's interest as he finishes the show and about two minutes after they go back to their seat, we see several of the people who were on stage, get up and leave. One left, then the other got up and so on.. And it just so happened that those four or five were people who were picked to stay on stage.

After the show we stay at that casino for a little while. About an hour after we are still there and we see the hypnotist walking with two other people.. One we knew for sure was one of those he called on stage and it was likely the other person as well.

After that I came to the conclusion that for most people it is probably complete bullshite, but there are a small percentage of people who is able to be put into some state in which they will do as told. Whether its them getting caught up in the moment, they wanting to believe its real so they subconsciously allow themselves to be hypnotized. And all of these people who does it as entertainment, they have plants they call on stage who helps really sell the show.

Had a hypnotist come to our High School to show the danger of drinking and driving. Got some guys on stage and "made" them drunk. Thought it was BS. One of my good buddies was 3 rows down from me and started acting like the guys on stage. Got the hypno guys attention and he brought him down to the stage. Talked to him after school and did not remember a thing. It's real.

Are these people who get hypnotized faking ?

Hypnotism is just the power of suggestion. The people being hypnotized are just doing what they're told to do. They're not actually in some kind of trance where their body is moving independently of their own mind.

There’s a few people I’d like to hypnotize.
Some more than others.

Yes, most people have unknowingly experienced the same state of mind. For example, you are driving, and suddenly you realize you have driven many miles with no memory of doing it yet you were in control of the car, you may havre even ended up in a unintended location also with no memory of driving there, you were in a hypnotic state,. Tosome degree most people can be made to enter the same type of state by a person with the proper skills.
