The idea defies reasoning and cannot be considered a reliable argument or proof of anything. You might as well say that existence has always existed.

The idea must be true, no matter one's philosophical beliefs.

I'll concede that it proves something.

no it doesn't

just because we haven't discovered the answer to something, doesn't mean it has to be "supernatural"

If first cause exists outside natural laws, it must be supernatural. There exists no first cause in ou natural laws.

like I said, just because we don't know, doesn't mean it has to be supernatural

it is perfectly ok for us to say "we don't know"

we don't have to stick "God" into every unknown answer

Yet.

There exists no first cause in our natural laws YET.

Thats the beauty of logical thinking and placing your trust in science.

There is always tomorrow.

Why can only one exist? This makes no sense when either side proposes it.

I'm not closed minded. I would be thrilled to see any actual evidence of angels, demons, or anything of the like.

But eventually first cause must be stuck into every equation.

For example, something caused the universe. No matter if we know what caused it or not, there was still a cause. Was the 'something' which caused the universe first cause? If not, what caused the cause of the universe...and on an on until we meet, whatever it is, the uncaused first cause. Now, if you wish to dismiss the supernatural aspect of that, go ahead, but there is a first cause which cannot exist if we apply natural laws of today. Today, it exists and it's supernatural.

I'd have to completely disagree. As scientific discoveries are made, the indescribable complexity of creation is observed which continually defies simple naturalistic mechanisms producing such a creation.
