The larger the nanny state, and the more perceived safety available, the more those that value only safety will fight for it.

Damn your liberty. Damn a normal human life. Get in the pod and eat the crickets. It's safe.

I don’t think anyone in politics cares about us though

And if we try to express our political opinions - we are told to shut up or are painted to look like religious freak hillbillies

I must be a woman. I have my opinions, but in reality if it doesn't have a direct impact on me I don't really care.

It seems like a lot more men care about the overall picture..
