Do the women in your life ever unplug random shite?

My mom constantly does this. Drives me crazy. Always unplugs the microwave. Unplugs my laptop. Unplugs the phone charger. She says she’ll that if a storm comes through it can electrocute my laptop.
Doubt it’s true but it sure as hell annoys me.
Yesterday was the worst. I couldn’t connect to Wi-Fi. She had unplugged the router.
When I asked her why, she said “Well it needed a break. It can’t be good for it to be plugged in so long.”
No pics of my mom btw
ETA: I’m in high school you dolts
. Since most of you aren’t in high school I’m asking about your wife’s and girlfriends.

Tell her unplugging electronics sends a hard restart and over time can damage the internal circuitry.
And devices like a computer will use twice as much energy coming online than sitting idle all day.

Install surge protectors on everything, they’ll help against power surges. Lightning strikes is another problem.
