I haven't seen many shrooms around Colorado. Though occasionally some Swiss pharmaceutical LSD shows up. And it's so clean, I haven't missed shrooms.
Though mushrooms are probably better for drumming. There's nothing like a few caps before walking in a Mardi Gras parade.

Only way to test for it is a spinal tap, which is illegal in Alabama. Shrooms work by drying out spinal fluid. People who have tripped too many times occasionally get flashbacks when they pop their neck

Late 70's early 80's, the cow pastures around our place in Tangipahoa parish, at times were exploding with the purple stemmed beauties. It looked a golf driving range out there, with all the tops scattered around.

Yeah that is 100% bullshite.
Shrooms and LSD effects have nothing to do with spinal fluid. It's all in the brain. And spinal fluid does not mix with the brain. Not to mention popping your neck is the release of gasses, also nothing to do with your spinal fluid.
That's not to say that Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder isn't real, but HPPD doesn't have anything to do with leftover drugs hanging around your body. When consumed, these chemicals are excreted. That's like saying my buddy ate a hot dog and every time he pops his neck he is no longer hungry because the hot dog is in his spine.
