A friend swears by it but it seems like a hot seat in the hot summer isn’t worth it. Has anyone else tried this?

On long drives it really helps my back out. I have to blast the AC when I turn on the seat heater, and it sometimes leaves my back a little sweaty, but I’ll take a sweaty back over one that’s knotted up.

Yes. I can confirm from friend who has had 2 surgeries.

Heated seats in his truck have been a game changer. He can drive and do things outside of a 1 he radius without being fricked up when he gets there.

You will freeze riding with him cause he cranks the AC up. But I'll take it if it helps him get out.

heat loosen stiff sore muscles, that never changes so he isnt wrong.

that said a simple muscle relaxer works better and doesnt make you sweat your arse off.

i have chronic back pain, the only thing that changes is what level of pain im in each day. it takes getting used to but if you just nut up and push passed it you learn to tolerate constant pain.

the more you move the less stiff you get, the less you move the more you stiffen up, its straight up[ cause and effect.

to each his own and everyone deals with pain differently, some can handle it and some become very pussified about it.

limit your physical tasks and stay active as you can and you will be in the best place you can be.

You probably shouldn't take muscle relaxers and drive a vehicle.

Heat soothes but cold is what helps with inflammation. Too much of either is not good. You can do an alternating of the two but don’t go longer than 15-20 minutes with ice

It does help- When my lower back is sore, I’ll use the low setting.

It helped mine in the past. Get in the car with a spasm acting up, and it would be worked out by the time I got where I was going. I fortunately have not had to use it during the heat of summer.

Seat warmers with a couple Vicodin and a shot of whiskey does the trick for me
