Do police not use rubber bullets anymore?

I seem to recall a long while back that police would use rubber bullets to break up riots without killing anybody.

They hurt like a SOB but don’t break the skin. Kinda like paintball

They do. A photojournalist lost her eye to one yesterday.

FWIW they aren’t entirely rubber. They are rubber coated metal cylindrical projectiles.

They can do major facial and brain injury, potentially fatal.

I’m sure they use them at last resort because of this.

Theres a video going around of MN cops shooting chalk bullets at people standing on their porch.

Just because the projectile is non-lethal doesnt make it ok.

Fox reporter was doing a live shot yesterday showing an officer getting ready to pop a fool with a bean bag gun

then fool started getting too close to the Fox guy and he was like "wait... get away from me"
