Growing up, I remember some relatives who saved that stuff like it was made of gold.

No way. I will admit to saving gift boxes this year
that made me feel old. But whatever. I need them every year to wrap clothes and oddly shaped shite, and they’re easy to save.

Makes more sense than throwing it out.
But I try to get done early and then give away the leftover paper.

Nope. Those days are over thanks to King Trump. We can use all the paper we want and then toss it into the streets, like God intended. MAGA

Who do you give it away to? Guess my relatives reused it.

I once dated a girl who kept wrapping paper to make envelopes (or so she said). It would never take her < 10 minutes to unwrap a fricking present.

People at work. First priority is the ones with small children. It guarantees that Santa's presents come in different wrapping paper.

No but I save bags. Everything goes in bags. My wrapping looks like it was done by a 5 year old drunk epileptic.

My MIL saves everything from gifts to wrapping paper. It's tough to even say thank you when you know she just pulled it out of a closet that morning.
She saves birthday candles.

My MIL saves everything as well...
Usually I don’t mind, but sometimes it drives me nuts.
