Flew some kites with the kids and ate some crawfish out there about 5 years ago. Was great. Don’t go there often though. Should go more… with exceptions.

Definitely a hidden gem. Lots of people are out there excercising and hanging on the seawall, but not as much picnicing or cruising. Levee Board shuts down the access if it gets too crowded. I don't find there is more trash than any other park areas. It's just more noticeable when someone leaves a small pile of crawfish on a concrete vista.
