I did this once. The house that my great-grandfather built in 1913 came up for sale once. My dad, who had a lot of fond memories of staying there in the summers growing up and hadn't seen it in over 40 years wanted to have a look, so we did it. Couldn't afford to buy it but my old man wanted to have one last look. He said a lot of the interior was still original and like how he had remembered it. Even some of the interior doors were still original. We didn't say what our true intentions were to the agent, of course. lol
