Except I wouldn't have used the "s" on the end.

The only time I have loose change in my pocket is if I pay cash for something and get it back in the change from my purchase. I will take it out once home and put it in a change jar to bring to the bank at least once a year or so.

You can throw coins at the flame holders during Mardi Gras parades.
It's encouraged.
1. They are called Flambeauxs.
2. No more coin throwing. You hand them $1 bills now.

I don’t use dollars much less coins... all my coins sit in my son’s piggy bank

I have a bunch too. As well as Indian head pennies.

I often park downtown and need coins for the meter but rarely have them. It’s a pain in the arse.

For some reason I really dislike loose change. They're inefficient, dirty, and I associate them with clutter.
I use a credit card with rewards for almost everything then pay it off every month. I use a debit card for small transactions since the fees are minuscule. The only thing I keep cash around for is the occasional need to leave a tip and there's no option to do it on the card but it's never coins.
Even vending machines are accepting debit cards these days.

I’m not exactly sure why paper cash still exists. I can’t remeber the last time I had cash on me.

A lot of convenience stores in my area don't give pennies back as change any longer. If its less than 5cents, they just give you a nickel.

You ever had to lag using a paper bill? It's not the same.
