Spending time in Italy this summer. A little nervous. I don't think Italy is a huge terrorist target, but crazy things can happen anywhere.

Still going.

Was just curious as to if it rattles anyone a little. That's all.
Makes some of my friends and relatives nervous as hell. But, they've never been there so it is hard to make them understand.

I have been to Venice before and loved it. This will be Florence and Rome. So, something different.

I have always wanted to go to Capri. Maybe one day.

The ironic thing is that I usually fly into cities in the Middle East, and I feel infinitely safer in those airports than I do in the States.

Hell, I've felt safer walking around some Middle Eastern cities than I have in parts of the US.

This mentality is the sole reason I hate uneducated Southerners. It's no wonder when I travel abroad and meet a fellow American they're usually from anyplace but the South.

Way to let the terrorist win.

I think since 9-11 10x as many people have died from lightning strikes as terrorist attacks on US soil.

Your being very ignorant Paul. Many people have no desire to visit Europe.

The past 18 months have made me nervous about travelling.

I've had to fly for work 4 times in last 18 months. 3 of the times I was seated next to a fat black woman who smelled bad.

Barry the only way they win is if we don't go. We're going ... But for now it does make me just a little nervous.

That is awesome!

Which cities are you visiting?

What airport are you flying into?

Most international flights offer free booze. Tell your doctor you're nervous about transatlantic flight and ask him for some klonipin.
