The smell of tequila..
Takes me back to my undergrad days as a pledge. Couldn't tell you how many shots of cheap tequila I was "encouraged" to take. To this day I can't drink the shite

Hurricane Katrina smells are by far the most memorable ones I have. After Laplace flooded a few years ago, I smelled some of the same smells for months. I will never forget that.

I love the smell of grass
Cut grass in the morning takes me back to playground in elem school AND early morning football practices in HS.
Diesel fumes trigger the bus rides like someone said.
certain perfumes(often reproduced/copied over last 30 yrs) take me back to different HS girlfriends.
colognes take me back to periods in my life. Like that Curve cologne(old guy I see sometimes at work wears it) reminds me of playing Playstation till 11pm and then going to Tigerland.
Timeless scent of Obsession reminds me of paying to get squirts of it in the Don Carters bathrooms in 90-91. THIS ONE HERE:
Newly painted office interiors remind me of the building my locker was in for freshman year of HS.

Anytime I smell the perfume my ex wore, i think about her. It's intoxicating to me. It's unfortunate when I turn around and it's a 300 pound black woman named Trichelle.

A certain perfume called georgio brings me back to my former girlfriend nearly 30 years ago.
When I smell diesel fuel , I think of the running generator we had at the national weather service office .

The smell of honeysuckle takes me back to skipping school in the woods with my girlfriend and that sweet first taste of poon tang. Tide detergent makes me think of basic training.
Music can be similar.

The smell of stale bmc beer, peanut shells, and piss remind me of old Stanford Stadium.
I'm not complaining, but it was an old, piss-filled dungeon with wood benches. I'll never forget it.

Polo sport brings me back to junior year in Spanish class because the kid in front of me would pour it on after PE.
Peanuts and beer bring me back to countless Mardi Gras parades.
A certain laundry detergent (don't know which one) reminds me of an ex boyfriends house.
