After actually watching a couple of those types, I found the juice wasn't worth the squeeze, so my final answer is "No".

Yeah, this trend needs to end. There a lot of reels/TikToks that are just totally trolling to waste your time it seems like.
I see a lot with a clickbait caption like "My mom taught me this trick..." and I watch and they just do something stupid like tie a rubber band to a fork then wedge the fork into the zipper of a jacket and tie the other end of the rubber band to your car keys like it's some mind-blowing hack to not lose your car keys. And this shite will drag out for 2-3 minutes and you're watching the whole time assuming there's going to be some big reveal at the end, and it never comes.
I just don't get the point of it... I guess they get ad revenue the longer they keep people staring at their screens. Social media was toxic and wasteful enough as it is, but now it's 90% dumb shite like this that is a complete waste of time.
