Later Monday morning, the entrance to Guy's was covered in plywood. Chairs, propelled by the truck, were impaled by their legs in the walls. Tables and other furnishings were scattered around the dining room.
The driver of the Toyota FJ Cruiser, identified by police as 19-year-old Shakti Gilotra, received minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
Authorities say Gilotra was driving on Valmont Street around 12:39 a.m. when he disregarded a stop sign and collided with a silver Dodge pickup truck that was traveling on Magazine Street.
