About the only reason I see for me remarrying (and everyone is different) is I am planning on doing the great loop (covered in other threads) and need someone to help around the yacht when I do it.
I am going back and forth between getting into a relationship and hiring a first mate for the year or so. I would definitely want the first mate to be female. The other option is to have a single guy friend do the loop with me and we turn it into a booze cruise.

Stay single until you see benefits in someone. If she's not way better than you deserve, and your friends will tell you if she is, don't marry.
