That’s ridiculous. Probably true for some men, though. I married in 1985 to a girl I started dating in 1979 at 16 years old. By 29 we had our fourth and last kid. He’s 28 now and a great young man. His three sisters are all doing great, too. My wife and I have been together 41 years. She’s still awesome. We’re both 58; we have a fifth and sixth grandkid on the way; and we’ve been living a life that’s half vacation for the last 10 years. I’m trying to figure out why I should have waited until 35.

I bet. My first wife walked out in the fall, a couple of months later my dad passed away, and I was looking to move to get out of the small town we were in.
I moved on Dec. 23rd, and spent Christmas and new years just staring at my new walls alone. I'm a guy, so it wasn't as bad as it sounds, but at least you have companionship with Butters, so enjoy this time with him/her.

One bonus....I don’t have to deal with walking on eggshells on the holidays with my MIL this year I get along fine with her but every year you never knew what kind of mood she would be in. Always made my soon ex and his sister sometimes dread gathering at their parents. Not my worry now!
My soon to be former SIL is awesome though. Me and her have maintained a friendship throughout all this. She loves her brother but thinks he is a massive idiot for what he is doing and has reached out to check up on me many times. And she has told me several times that no matter what...I will always be considered an aunt to her children(thankfully my soon ex agrees and won’t object to me separately maintaining a relationship with them).

Nurse I read a few of your responses. My .02 don't wait around hoping that your soon to be ex wants you back. Accept that the love you once shared is now gone. It hurts but the truth shall set you free. Embrace the freedom to choose what YOU want to do now find yourself again and do shite you have been wanting to do for a long time. Be happy and that happiness will radiant and others will notice yes maybe even the ex. Don't look back. You are healthy, you have a good job, and we want sexy nurse back on here again. I was single 4 years before I found my new wife. Btw we dated 6 years before I said I do again. Good luck on your new adventure
