Based on what?
I'm on my phone, and the latest iOS blows, so I can't get the quote function to work properly, but the below is from a weekly standard article from June 22nd.

I was thinking more in terms of claims for equitable relief since there was a legal barrier to what the parties intended, the pooling of assets for the purchase of a home together. Will there be some sort of effort to make economic substance the determining factor instead of the legal form of ownership?

Now that this is legal will states that have common law have to retro that? For example two gay dudes been together exclusively for 10 years then bust up. Can one of them go to court for some of the property.

To be honest, I'd say for the most part it would be easier than a straight divorce. Unless they're flamers, the only thing 2 guys are really going to care about are the kids and the dog.
