Distance Running and Nipple Bleeding

So this is a problem I have never had. I was a cross country runner in high school in tip top shape. That's been almost 10 years now. I have just done runs for fun in the past years but recently started to train for a half marathon.
Today I finish my long run (only 7 miles), and I get back and my left nipple is bleeding. I get in the shower and rinse off and it hurt just for the water to run down it. This had never happened to me before.
Anyone else have this problem ever when distance running and how do you deal with it?
And I'm a guy so do I need to make sure my SO isn't spiking my drinks with estrogen?

You have more fat now.
Just put bandaids on them before you run.

Yes, it has happened before to me on long runs. Nipples do not calus like hands or feet. Circle band-aids are the best. You can also use body glide but for me it needed to be reapplied after about 6-7 miles.

Body Glide FTW. Make sure you are not running in cotton shirts either. Good luck.

Under Armour Compression Under Shirt
Band Aids

Just wear one of the under armour compression shirts. By itself or under another shirt. Problem will be completely solved. Band aids and hair don't work well together.

Can't win a marathon without putting a couple of band aids on your nipples

Ive never done band aids. Just body glide.

Cotton shirts are a no-no unless the humidity is very low. Beyond that Vaseline used to work just fine for me.

I use band-aids. But I got big Farah Faucet type nipples.
