Thought you were implying me since you replied to my comment.

That said most of the “celebrating” isn’t even that. People pointing out what they perceive as ironic or saying they didn’t agree with him or pointing out the instant weaponization of his death isn’t the same thing as “celebrating his death”.

Just today I saw Kieth Oblermann saying that Charlie Kirk can burn in hell.

But let me guess…..you don’t think that counts.

But you can acknowledge the distinction b/t someone saying watch ya neck or frick his family vs someone being critial of Kirk's words right? Folks who's only knowledge of Kirk is misquotes and clipped takes that when taken out of context are quite spicey and may give the impression he is a racist. Folks captured by their algorithm into believing bad data are not the same as those celebrating murder imo.

This is the sort of person Im referring to:

He isnt celebrating Kirk's death but he is just as worthy of ridicule and shaming and possible job loss as those that are.celebrating ..at least Lib of Tik think so. and I've seen examples of this all over the place.

That cop is 100% breaking the rules of his employment making posts like that assuming his state has similar rules as Louisiana. Play stupid games, maybe lose your job. Oh well

Kinda strange to downvote a simple fact, but you do you whoever you are

How Jimmy Kimmel’s Suspension Went Down: Sponsor Panic, a Defiant Host and a Painful Call

Disney’s Bob Iger and Dana Walden wanted to know how Kimmel was going to address the situation. Sources say he planned to defend what he said rather than "kowtowing” to the outrage. Disney thought that would fan the flames.

Dude lives in the most echo'iest of echo chambers. No shock he couldn't read the room and right he'd be able to do that.

I find it to be more ignorant than anything. You have to be severely misinformed to claim CK was racist. And as you said, posting something like that for the world to see is pretty stupid in general.

I’m definitely reporting some of y’all to the government for oversight. Way too much free thinking going on in here.

In LA civil servants cannot engage in politics on social media. You also must be professional, which means no defamatory remarks (claiming CK is openly racist for example) and no creating a hostile work environment. This one post alone obviously wouldn't be enough to claim hostile work environment, but I'm betting a deeper dive into this guy's social media would provide some more.

Is this one post enough to be fired, highly doubtful and I wouldn't like that. Is it something that can be reported and he face discipline for? 100%. Making posts like that, and even if it were in staunch defense of CK, when you work for the public is just not smart.
