Yeah, that offer is for new subscribers. I got it last year. They try to get you to forget about it so they can bill you for it the next year. You have to remember to cancel that package or else it will auto-renew.

Correct, then they auto renew it the next season and start billing you for it. You gotta call to cancel which is what I did and they refunded me the (2) weeks I was billed for it.

Only if by current you mean new since last football season. I signed up with Directv in May of 2016. I got last season free. Now they charge if I want to see it.
Just signed in and verified they will charge if I add it back.

Your link is not for current subscribers unless I'm missing something. That just looks like their standard sign up now and new customers get this and that, etc.

I got it for free and I barely use. Don't really see what all the fanfare is about. If I can transfer it over to one of y'all, I'll let someone have mine.
